PIRLO ANNOUNCES GOODBYE TO FOOTBALL

The midfielder Andrea Pirlo announced in an interview published this Sunday in the newspaper 'Gazzetta Dello Sport' that he will retire in December this year. At 38, the Italian has assumed that he is no longer in the best physical condition and that the time is right.

With physical problems every day, we can not train as we want because we always have something. At my age, that's enough.
It is not possible to play until 50. I will do something else, "said the fourth most international player ever for his country, with 116 internationals, along with De Rossi.

Now all we need to know is what Pirlo is going to do after December, which coincides with the end of the New York contract and the season finale in MLS. Working with Antonio Conte, who was his coach at Juventus, may be an option but the midfielder has assumed that there are no concrete plans yet.

"I'm going to do something, work with Conte? Some things are said and I have some ideas but I need some time to decide," said the player who went past Juventus, Brescia, Milan and Inter, having also played in Reggina, by loan.

In his vast trophy, Andrea Pirlo won the 2006 World Cup, two Champions League matches for Milan and the Italian league seven times - five for Juventus and two for Milan.
