Morata forced to withdraw from Spain team due to injury

Alvaro Morata leaves Spain's squad for the next clashes with Albania and Israel due to an injury.

The player came out of Chelsea's 1-0 home defeat to Manchester City on Saturday with a hamstring problem and joined Dani Carvajal and Andres Iniesta in the withdrawal for the World Cup qualifiers.

Morata had tests on his injury on Monday which revealed a grade two strain and is thought to be on the sidelines during the last two weeks.

Chelsea are confident, however, that former Real Madrid will be launched after the international break when the Blues face Crystal Palace in the Premier League and Rome in the Champions League.
