«MBAPPÉ WILL WIN THE GOLDEN BALL IN THE FUTURE» SAYS 'VICE' OF MONACO
Monaco's vice-president Vadim Vasilyev has raised the veil over all controversy over Kylian Mbappé's departure from the principality, admitting that the young forward will be the future winner of the Golden Ball.
"The boy wanted to leave. Personally, I did not see him in Paris, but I listened to all his arguments and tried to perceive the feelings behind him. Mbappé was born in Paris and thought it was too early to leave France. So we decided that if there was a good proposal we would let it go. It was amazing! Still, I think he will win the Golden Ball in the future, "said the Monegasque club's leader in an interview with The Telegraph, praising rival Paris Saint-Germain:
"It's a great project, I have to admit. The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) is a club that aspires to win the Champions League and Mbappé, play side by side with Neymar, makes everything more attractive ».
