Panama officials investigate Messi

The Spanish press revealed Wednesday that the Argentine Lionel Messi (Barcelona) is being investigated by the authorities of Panama.

According to El Confidencial, Panama is investigating Messi and his father for 'suspicious operations'.

  After being convicted of tax fraud in Spain, Messi's representatives ordered the purchase of a company in that country the day after being denounced by the Tax of Barcelona.

Mega Star Enterprises Inc was purchased in June 2013 and duly registered with the Public Registry of Panama.
