VENEZUELA ACCUSES PARAGUAY OF USING WOMEN TO TRY PLAYERS
Rafael Dudamel, Venezuela coach, accused Paraguay of trying the players with women who visited the hotel the night before the decisive 2018 qualifying match between the two teams.
"There were many female visitors during the night at the hotel. They knew how to choose them well, yes. There was a good casting. But football has evolved, my lords. Times have changed, "he said, before denouncing other strategies to deconcentrate the 'vinotinto' players.
"There have been many broken phones, dangerous calls that endanger the career of any player and our footballers have given a great demonstration of professionalism, integrity, showed values and achieved a result that should be proud of Venezuela," he added.
