LAST UPDATE TO IBRAHIMOVIC'S RECOVERY MAKES MOURINHO SMILE

The latest news on Zlatan Ibrahimovic's recovery is that the striker is expected to return to work at Manchester United full-time starting in November, ahead of what was originally expected after the surgical intervention needed to rebuild the affected Swedish right knee ligaments on 20 April in the second leg of the Europa League quarter-final against Anderlecht.

ESPN cites sources close to Ibrahimovic to advance that the 36-year-old will be followed by the Manchester United medical team at the Carrington practice center where he already raced the gym a few times a week after being operated in the United States in May .

It is recalled that Ibrahimovic signed a new contract with Manchester United in August after the club did not trigger the renewal clause that was provided in the previous agreement due to the seriousness of the injury.

Coach José Mourinho was very pleased with the fact, noting that Ibrahimovic could be available from the elimination phase of the Champions League - the first leg of the knockout phase takes place from February 13, 2018.
