'GOLDEN BOY': MBAPPÉ SUCCEEDS RENATO SANCHES WITH A RECORD OF VOTES

French PSG player had 291 of the 300 votes

Kylian Mbappé is the winner of this year's Golden Boy Award, awarded by the Italian newspaper 'Tuttosport', which annually awards the best U21 sportsman. The PSG player is thus the successor of the Portuguese Renato Sanches, who won the prize last year.

The player competed side by side with Frenchman Ousmane Dembélé (who moved from Dortmund to Barcelona) and Englishman Marcus Rashford, with Mbappé winning the prize with a record of votes, in which of the 300 he obtained 291.

Having made a dreamy season with Monaco, where he won the French Cup and reached the semi-finals in the Champions League, Mbappé became the second most expensive player in football history to star in a transfer of the principality team to the PSG for 180 million (clause will be triggered after the loan period of an era).
