Golden ball won by ronaldo yields 600 thousand euros in auction
The replica of Cristiano Ronaldo's Golden Ball, won in 2013, was auctioned for 600 thousand euros, within the framework of the solidarity gala of the Make a Wish foundation.
The replica of the trophy was snatched away by Idan Ofer, a businessman and one of Israel's richest personalities in transport, drilling and minerals.
The value was donated by CR7 to the Make a Wish Foundation, a non-profit organization whose mission is to fulfill the desires of life-threatening children between the ages of 3 and 17.
According to Marca, also Jose Mourinho (Manchester United) and Pep Guardiola (Manchester City) contributed to the event: about 30 thousand euros were paid to watch a boxing match in Manchester, alongside the two coaches.
